FS: JDM TRD axleback for HB

Just pulling stuff out from storage and found this little gem. Very good condition. One of the few (possibly 3) in the US due to its pricetag/importing. I’ll have photos up after I clean it up and figure out a price.

Is this the High Response Ver.S muffler? Always wondered how it sounds since it uses the same peanut looking muffler design as the factory muffler. lol.

It sure is! It's got a nice, audible rumble with no droning and while being quieter than the tanabe series of axlebacks. I had it on my car since 2014-2018. Loved it!

I am still working on cleaning it up. I’ll have a price once that’s accomplished

Although I don't need an axleback anymore, the anticipation is killing me.

It sounds good, but I like the sound of my Megan more. Could, of course just be the recording. That said, I bet the JDM has a much better sound from inside the vehicle. The Megan is good, but has a wee bit of a drone at highway speeds.

If you are going for sound than this may not be the muffler for you. I prefer this as I don't want to get deaf over a 2-4 hour drive

Agreed. I actually considered just installing an aftermarket stock Scion xD muffler but it looked quite restrictive. The Megan came up and it was too good a deal to pass up. It's not loud in the car, just a little bit of a drone. Had this JDM come up when I was looking, I definitely would have considered it, though price was also going to be a deciding factor.
