Given how cheap the "proven" headers are, I would avoid that one until someone gives it a full test. That EBay knockoff crap can be, well, crap.

May I chime in, I am unaware of my OLD post got swipped by the hack...

But I did actually purchase an ebay header, then obtained a Megan Racing header from Chinocharles...needless to say, everyone swore up and down that they looked the same inside and out. Well, I had to test, although I didnt have them installed on the car. They looked identicle in person. Same shape, size, inlet/outlet size. Only differences I saw: Megan header seemed more refined and finished when it came to interior surfaces, cleaner interior could lead to less restricted flow. Of course I am sure that not every header is perfect or identicle when it comes to construction. Just the ebay ones are either an off brand of the same product, or just ones that Megan refuses to sell, thus getting rid of them cheap.

In the end I kept the Megan Header and just gave away the Ebay one, seeing in the combined price of both was cheaper than a new Megan Header, lol.

Oh, and as for longevity of header construction. Only header I know of that has failed and fallen apart, has been the Weapon R 4-2-1 Header; it just ended up falling apart at the welds.

So as for header superiority in my eyes:
DC Sports 4-1
Megan Racing 4-1
Ebay "Megan Style" 4-1
Weapon R 4-2-1

I was planning on buying a megan header from MI yesterday, but decided to get a nst pulley instead so I can save some money for other stuff. I was considering buying an ebay header and then stumbled on this thread. I'll try this 'AMK' header and report in with pics, etc. I'll make a thread when I get it next week.

I went with the DC header from WeSellCarParts last year and it's still looking great and performing well.

For 69 bucks I'm willing to try this out to share with everyone. I really wanted the megan ones, but I'm trying to save up for a blitz sc. These headers will give me something to do and hopefully add a little more fun till I am able to buy the sc. Plus I dont mind being a guinea pig for everyone when its affordable.

^ Oh no, I wasn't trying to poke fun. I think it's great that someone is trying them. Just their claims (which most manufacturers make "great" claims as well) are impossible.

But that doesn't mean that the header is junk. It'd be awesome if they were comparable to a reputable brand and only $69 shipped.

Oh yeah, no worries bro, i know its just gimmick ebay bs. I've seen your humor around the forums, you're a cool guy and i totally get you Besides if this breaks, all the more reason to scrap headers and go turbo!

I think it's just low end, but you get a lot more in top end power. It's pretty much like that with any n/a mod.

I'm sorry, I should've been more specific when I said "a lot." What I was refering to was the gain in high end performance in comparison to the lost of power on the low end side. Some people complain about the amount of torque lost in the low end. However from my experience, the gain in the amount of high end power makes up for the lost low end power and then some. That's what I meant when I was referring to "a lot."

As far as ponies go, you're looking at probably 1-4 hp. I dont have exact numbers, but from what I've read from other posts this is what you may expect from a mod like this. Though I believe that in real life situations weight would play a factor on how far this mod can go vs a dyno. I could be wrong, but when I do these mods I definitely feel a difference and I dont care so much about numbers. From a CAI and a axle-back I've been able to easily take my friends 99 jettah when before I was stock we were pretty much neck and neck. I know it may not be concrete evidence that these mods make much of a differece, but hell its enough for me and I believe adding this header I can expect enough increase in performance to satisfy me till i can go f/i .

Lol sorry if you just expected a short answer, just think of this as reference for other members looking for information.
