Yes, you can add power mirrors to your L model Yaris quick and easy
Okay, so to confirm, you can easily add power mirrors to a 15-17 Yaris L model. The wiring is in the door as well as the dashboard. Plug in and go. Just did this last night, wanted to share with the world. The power mirror switch from a 04-06 Scion xA/xB is a good substitute if you can't find a Yaris power mirror switch and the bezel part fits perfectly. The Prius C mirror switch is also a direct swap in part.
I also know on my wife's 2012 L (that has manual windows) that the dashboard at least has the plug for the mirror controls. I have NOT taken the door panel off yet to check to see if the door is prewired. That'll be coming soon.

This is good news.
One of my reservations (in addition to that big ugly grille) about getting a '15 or later "L" is no power mirrors. To avoid curbing my rims, I need power mirrors to parallel park. |

Yeah, I can understand that. But yeah, order up some junkyard mirrors, change out the covers to match your car from the "base" mirrors, and get a switch. It's all plug and play.

Important to know since used 2016/2107 are in abundance via Hertz at great prices with low mileage - but they are all "L" trim line.

Back to mirrors. So a switch and I assume you need the power mirrors too or is the motor already in the stock L mirrors. |

Some further research happened today. On my wife's 2012 Yaris L 4 door (manual windows and power locks) the door harnesses and dash are prewired for power mirrors as well. So once I find another set of mirrors, that bugger will also be upgraded.

Power mirror. We never had power folding mirrors in the states on the Yaris.
