I rock the Royal Purple, changed every 5k miles. this way if i bottom out I know that purple means oil and pink means radiator fluid.

Amsoil 5W-20 full synthetic + Mobil1 premium synthetic filter.
My intervals are 10'000 km. No perceived difference from genuine Toyota 5W-30 motor oil, so far. Regardless of your oil, you should always be using a high quality filter. |

At 30,000 on odometer is it ok to switch to a synthetic or better to stay with same as factory installed? All dealer service so far using standard mobil 5w30 and toyota filters.
