Kevin, is there no way to get needle nose pliers in that hole or something just to get it close so you can grab it? If you can get hold of it any at all, you might be able to maneuver the socket back into its slot. It's a totally shitty situation, I know.

I live in prince george bc I havent seen shit all for auto stores, except canadian tire lol
and nope, I even tried my girlfriends tweezers and a needle to shape it in, the problem is how the hell do i twist it without pushing it in again AND moving it around is impossible ive tried until my arms are sore from being held up lol. Even the lightbulb is in there but I cant see it, maybe if I found this molding remover or whatever it might help. What could I say to make them believe me then? lol im fucked paying for nothing bah this BLOWS

Those retainer clips have to be disengaged one at a time. Start disengaging one, and lightly pull down on the molding until it doesn't pop back in anymore. Stick the end of a Q-tip in, and proceed to disengage the other clips, and do the same (Q-tip and move on) until all four are disengaged. Then it should come off. I've disengaged moldings before by using a small, thin flat head. Sure, it took a while compared to having that molding remover tool, but I don't want to spend extra money if I can improvise. hahahaha. By small and thin, I mean pocket size.
