PLEASE HELP
Replacing factory deck in 07 yaris with Kenwood ddx319 from bestbuy. Im doing it without the harness and have snipped off the connectors.
First tried an old Dual DVD deck from walmart and initially it worked and I focused on grounding it for DVD playback but because im doing a hack job I thought I blew the deck when moving it in and out of the opening. Verified voltage after replacing the fuse for dome lights which was fried so I wired the Kenwood properly (power, acc, ground) but all im seeing is a blinking red light top left corner which is the reset button i believe. Anyone had this type of issue? |

Learned 1st hand why you should never cut the factory harness. Be prepared for blown fuses and a bit of smoke. 5 bucks for a Harness off Amazon was too much ?
If you're trying to check if the Headunit works . Yellow and Red to Positive of battery. Black to negative. Should power up.
