cranking amps
Maybe someone here has measured the starting amps on the 1.5 engines with one of those amp clamp tools. I want to know just what it draws. I have a start module that works with a battery and it dumps about 220 amps out on start and then a small battery can supply about 200 amps also if needed.....The module might be modified to reduce that amount with an appropriate resisitor...but I want to know what the numbers are
before I use it.. I would guess the 1.5 uses about 150 amps during the summer and maybe 200 in winter,,,?? what do you know??? |
