This is a great intake. Injen is one of the best manufacturers out there. We sell a lot of these as well.

still no real world dyno results from this intake? I know the injen results are posted but I never like to go by that.

I run that too and it feels like it just bumps it up back to the factory specs of 106hp, maybe a tad higher. But I definately can say it makes for a smooth ride and power especially in 3rd grear. The the fact that I also have a Tanabe axel back exhaust helps out as well.

Hi
Is this Injen intake only for 1,5L engines? I have an European 1,3L VVT-I engine with stock 87hp. Would it fit that too? Regards Steven. |

Who said Yaris was slow?

If your OE intake looks the same as the OEM intake of a US spec Yaris... the you can use any of the intakes sold for the US yaris. |

That looks like a really easy upgradable intake. You could go ghetto style and just take out the OEM paper filter out of the plastic box in top of the engine and the cut the plastic tube and replace it with an aluminium tube with a quality cone filter at the end... You probably won't get the nice sound of a regular intake, but at least you could improve the flow a little. |

I have one in black. looks good works good. can't find a cheap dyno day to get real data.
curious to how much dirt there is blowing around down in the fender. but since you have to undo about 16 bumper screws and fasteners to get to it, i'll wait till about 7500 miles from now. while i have the bumper cover off i'll do the fog/driving light install. i want to save my stock airbox unmolested but have an idea to hack up an airbox [ if i can get another] and make the injen a little bit stealth. just clam shell the factory box over the injen. that way i have some storage under the hood for whatever inside the fake airbox. |

^Agreed... what he said! Support your vendors, we pay to help keep this site going. We are also a authorized vendor for Injen. Wesellcarparts or ourselves would love to help you guys get what you are looking for! Injen is one of the absolute best name brands for intake available.
