This maybe explains why my car sometimes cuts-off while driving it hard. Hmmm interesting. Any idea on this?

no the dcfo is when your fuel gets cut off while decelerating in gear... thus saving you gas. as far as getting "cut off" when driving, the only i'm thinking that good be is when you hit 115mph.

So I'm back to the same spot, my car cuts-off randomly at 5000-6500rpm in third gear, sometime in 4th and never reaching near 115

I wonder if any of this is related to the ECU settings being different for the Central/South American markets relative to the US? Of course, Puerto Rico is US, so are the cars US-spec?

It has been cuttin off with and without the 1zzfe TB. That's the problem, cause if it was only with the 1zzTB I would blame the TB, but it has done it with the 1nzTB also.

It cuts-off the check engine lights blinks for a few seconds. The light goes off and the car continues normally. I think my car is a real biatch!

What other parts of the car have you changed/moddoed in the past? this sounds like it might be something screwing-up one of the sensors.

Maybe it has to do with my custom intake, maybe.
My mods:
-Intake
-Underdrive Crank Pulley
-Header
-2" custom exhaust (only 1 cat deleted)
-1zz TB (its on right now, but as I mention, it has done it without the TB)
-Nothing else for now

I haven't scan it because the CEL goes off as soon as it gets back to normal.

This might be a good mystery to solve.
