Their 5.4 is rated at 500hp, and around 600hp Not counting special build Mustangs that can be bought right off the Ford showroom floor...(Saleen 4.6, 550hp - Roush 4.6, 510hp - Steeda 5.0, 650hp) ZR1, 6.2, 638hp, 0-60mph 3.4 seconds CTS-V, 6.2, 556hp, 0-60mph 3.9 seconds ...or a working man's car like my old '05 GTO, when stock, 6.0, 400hp, 0-60 4.7 seconds |

Is better looking than this? Boy, that is the real reason why the US is not getting cars like the TS and the Type R, etc. |

i love that you're comparing a bone stock xD to a modified yaris. very clever. i can do the same! vs beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. the yaris looks cheap and out dated.

Personally, I like the looks of the Yaris better than the xD, but that's just my opinion. Like Tamago said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm sorry, but the xD looks like a mini van even when modded. It looks like a modded mini van. I understand that it comes with better standard features but the extra $2400 (msrp) is not worth it for an ugly van err car. It's also interesting that for it's extra hp, the xD's power to weight ratio is 20lb/hp and the Yaris is 21lb/hp not that much of a difference. Oh and it's also of note that the Yaris' user rating on msn autos is higher then the xD in all categories (including performance and styling), with 10s in quality and recommendation. I have owned mine for about 9 months now and love every trip in it. I still find myself admiring it when I'm walking towards it... For the price, Yaris is the best!

Even the xD has the Yaris A/C controls, except sideways.

I've owned mine for over a year and feel the same way about my little Yaris. I'd maybe smile a little more if I was walking towards an Audi A5 tho' |

+10 ! IMO, the style of the Yaris is FAR superior to the Scion, the Fit, and a couple of other subcompact cars in the US. It just is! I get a lot of compliments on the way she looks.

I am not a fan of the latest series of "boxcars" (xD, Kia Soul or Nissan Cube), the look like delivery vans to me. The xA--although on the same platform as the Yaris--looks like a rollerskate. "Cheap and outdated?" Dude, get a clue! Anyone who insults a car on its own forum is a real assclown! Goodbye, and good riddance |
