The Magnaflow and Flowmaster mufflers will drone a bit, and cost twice as much at least. If you want to relax, stay away from these mufflers
I have a Magnaflow on my sedan, and it's a bit too quiet. I had a Flowmaster on the GTI, and it was 3-times louder than my sedan.

The GTI was really quiet inside, but when I sold it, I could still hear it 2-3 blocks away from the outside.

I've got one on my hatch and it's pretty loud. (No one has tried to race me, I was just joking about that bit. :P) Highway drone was okay, but now with no seats you can't have a conversation with your passenger.

I apologize for my bombardment of questions, but seriously, I'm in a hurry to switch out my muffler. Your help is greatly appreciated!

That one will fit.

Just about every car I've owned since 1998 has had an aftermarket exhaust. The Thunder axleback for my Yaris is one of the mellower, quieter exhaust systems I've owned. I love it, and definitely don't find it annoying. Now, the custom exhaust I had on my 1999 Sentra--that was too loud and got annoying.

Greddy Tic is loud and droney like no other......it sounds great but on long drives you will go out of your mind.once the car gets a good 150sq ft of sound deadening it gets better inside......

lol... yea I don't wanna feel like shooting myself in the face on a 4 hour drive from hearing a super loud exhaust. I'm thinking the trd exhaust might be the best choice for what I want.

depends on who you are. my dual glasspack set up is pretty loud...but I rather enjoy it. it is under the 91DBA from 25 feet away requirement of oregon state law, but not by much.

i enjoy it myself...honestly when i am zipping around on twisty back roads it almost makes the car seem like it has more than "1 hamster on a wheel" power.

as far as the drone...i enjoy listening to it change pitch and tone through the gears. just me though. and it only gets really loud at WOT or higher RPM's....if i am puttering around a residential area its pretty quiet.

if you want good tone at a lower DB level and more HP/gas milage...go for a 2.25" custom catback with a 24" or longer glasspack in the middle of the car and a Borla or other straight through muffler at the back of the car. if you want tone and volume, a couple glasspacks works best...a single short glasspack makes it sound like a honda...only one long glasspack and no resonator is only like 5 DBA lower than open header...been there, tried all of that. if you want cheap, quiet, and more HP...custom catback pipe from the resonator with a dynomax super turbo on the end.

Everyone has a different tolerance for noise levels. My Yaris with no muffler was still quiet compared to my Eclipse running straight out a 3" downpipe. Just installed the Ti-C tonight, now I gotta go find the allen wrench so I can take out the silencer.
