rip yaris

hey for all of u who know me and know my yaris cause of all the post that i have made this evening my car got totalled. i was driving straight to go home and i dont know out of no where some guy cuts me off and my foot was still on the gas pedal i had no time to react and he clipped me right under that it flipped me and put me on my side. i was able to get out of the passenger side and escape with a tender neck a scrapped elbow and my hand hurts a little. i didnt really care about all those parts but just that i was able to walk away. so my advice to all you guys that drive a yaris is becareful and remember that this car is really light it took 3 guys to flip it back to 4 wheels.

yea im scared now:) got me nervous of being flipped. i know the single car crash flip ratings for the sedan are not too bad, pretty average, but that just makes me nervous, glad you are ok though!

Sorry to learn about the accident. Glad that you are OK.
I presume the air bags have deployed.

Damn sorry to hear that. Did u get the guy that cut u off? i will be finding him and fuckin his car up.

The car is really light acually, i was driving on the highway and it was really windy. The wind pushed the yaris abour 10cm to the left. Even when im turning and the car stopped moving. Large cars and trucks that drives past me, the yaris shakes.

This is the first thread I've seen on somthing like this. I don't know though, these kinds of things do happen to all cars, not just our little yaris. My buddy was in a car that flipped after they hit ice and went off the road.

I think anyone who buys this car understands that against a truck there is going to be a problem.

Wearing a seat belt I hope?

You walked away with minor injuries - THAT’S the most important thing!
You always run the risk of coming out on the bad side of an accident
when you drive a small car. Smaller cars are no match against
larger vehicles. I’m glad you are ok.
