2009? Any different?

I was wondering if engine mods for 07-08 are the same for 09.
I think I read that the NST short shifter kit doesnt fit the 09. is that true?

for what I know it doesn't fit... at least after asking here around

Yaris Sol 1.33 dual VVTi model 09 - 5dr

1. full ZX1 additive treatment: oil + cooler + fuel
2. NB treatment: motor oil
3. K&N panel air filter (part num. 33-2211)
4. Fuchs Silkolene Pro SRG 75 gear oil (the best!)
5. UltraRacing 19mm rear sway bar

I have both NST SSK on my 09 and they fit just fine

Yeah I just saw you have the 1.3... mine's the 1.5

The 09 diesel has better torque, 6 speed gearbox, but it's 1s slower than 06, 07, 08(11.7 s vs. 10.7 s 0-62 ). The 09 also gets better fuel economy...

There is no engine and drive train changes in the US market. Closes thing is Auto only in the 5 door but this has nothing to do with your question.

US only has 1 engine-- 1.5 liter with a 5speed manual or 4 speed Auto.

SOME 09 have different shifter linkage... in that case, the in engine compartment NSK ssk will not work. (so that i read)

i encountered the shift linkage issue in the engine bay with mine. i just took a dremel and grinded the edges down until it fit over the linkage.
