2009? Any different?
I was wondering if engine mods for 07-08 are the same for 09.
I think I read that the NST short shifter kit doesnt fit the 09. is that true? |

The 09 diesel has better torque, 6 speed gearbox, but it's 1s slower than 06, 07, 08(11.7 s vs. 10.7 s 0-62 ). The 09 also gets better fuel economy...

There is no engine and drive train changes in the US market. Closes thing is Auto only in the 5 door but this has nothing to do with your question.
US only has 1 engine-- 1.5 liter with a 5speed manual or 4 speed Auto.

SOME 09 have different shifter linkage... in that case, the in engine compartment NSK ssk will not work. (so that i read)

i encountered the shift linkage issue in the engine bay with mine. i just took a dremel and grinded the edges down until it fit over the linkage.
