will this fit on my sedan?

The sedan has a smaller rear badge than the liftback, so it will fit, but there will be two small alignment holes that will be exposed, so your best bet is it put a piece of vinyl under it to cover the holes.

Do you mean the sedan's is larger? Could i just leave the holes or would water get in?

You could leave the holes, but really why do that? I used a CF vinyl custom cut decal on mine. It is possible that you will get moisture in the holes especially during a car wash. Depending on what color your car is you could also discuss with MI if they can just about color match the vinyl to your car for you...just a thought.
