It's finally here!

First off I want to say that this is a great forum. I finally got my Polar White Hatchback tonight, and I'm thrilled beyond words, but it's been a hellish day. I had put a $500.00 deposit on a black hatchback at a dealer and was expecting to pick up my car today. I called the dealer to let them know I'd be in tonight to pick up the car, and they couldn't find it. And I'm still waiting for the Sales Manager to call me to explain what they were going to do. In the mean time I started calling around the Southern California area looking for an automatic hatchback and of course none of the lots had any. Called the last dealership that I could think of, I found one, now the chase began. If anyone is familar with the freeways in So. Cal, you know you can't get anywhere fast, let alone on a Friday night. This dealer had 1 hatchback, and I was determined it was going to be mine, and it is! What a relief!

Now, I have to deal with the original dealer and get my check back. I can't believe the total lack of customer serivce, and I'm now glad I won't have to deal with them in the future. I can't imagine what it would be like to deal with them if I ever needed their assistance.

Cathy, a very relieved and happy Yaris owner.

These stories are starting to resemble trek's straight from Lord of the Rings.

Anyway, congratulations on picking up a sweet econobox!

You'll get your money back. It's illegal for them to keep it.

I went through a lot to get mine too. Believe me, in a few days, you'll know it was all worth it.
