Now this is my question.... is there any of those pulleys available for the 1st generation Yaris or Echo (whatever makes you happy)? we have a small crew down in Panama city, Panama very interested on that but we are not sure if we get them, are they going to fit or to work in our engines? 1.3L 2nz-fe

WOW!

It's hard to believe one little upgrade could make such a difference... It revs better, accelerates faster, even sounds nicer, I think. One thing I know, the shift points have moved. With the stock pulley, shifting into 2nd happened at 30mph and shifting into 3rd at 60mph. It's changed to 33-34mph and 63-64mph respectively. And getting to those shift points is much quicker. In stock form hitting 85mph was like an event. (that's my video btw) Now I find myself pulling it back from 80 all the time... I down shift to pass someone, and suddenly I'm on my way towards 90... To tell the truth, with stock suspension I think it's almost a little scary! I took my coworkers to lunch yesterday, and thought it was kinda funny to watch their heads snap backwards. I think I'm going to take another 0-85 video when I get a chance and post it here...(maybe after my springs are installed) In closing I must say

NST FTW!
Glad you are enjoying your pulley!!!

Yes, these same pulleys fit the 1.3L. Many international Yaris owners are using these pulleys.

Good luck and have fun with all your projects down there

CR-Lite can be used in n/a, turbo, and supercharged applications.

Underdrive Crank Pulley is designed for n/a, and turbo, and will free more power for these applications.

I'd think anodized aluminum would handle it better.

You might wanna check on something else if you are getting salt that far up into your engine compartment though :D

wow, way to much info here.
But I don't think this question has been answered
I can either get the light crank pulley or they 2 pulley set from cali yaris.
what would yeild more benefits?

2007 LB w/CAI. and a small sub amp (about 600 watts)
Will also be getting a rear sway bar, just want to know what pulley to order :)

any help or info is greatly appreciated

I have a, hopefully, pretty straigtforward question.
I am wanting to know what setup would provide better results in MPG and HP

1) crank light pulley(NST09010)
2) Pulley Combo (NST09025K)

My car in a nutshell
2007 Yaris LB w/auto w/CAI w/600 watt sub amp

thanks for the info :)

John

Hi John,

Thank you for your interest in our site and products, we appreciate it.

The setup that would provide the best results in MPG, HP, TQ, and throttle
response would be one that would provide the MOST weight reduction along with a
small amount of underdriving of the accessories.

So you should consider NST09010 Underdrive Crank Pulley + NST09025K Alternator
and Water Pump Pulley Kit. The more NST pulleys, the better the overall result.

Thanks again, and good luck!

Hold your horses guys!!!

The 1.5L and the 1.3L pulleys are the same as long as they are the same generation Yaris.

For the first generation Yaris (echo) either the 1.5 or the 1.3 you need to look for the Scion xB (first gen) pulleys.

Your cars have a double belt design crank pulley that is not a match with the Yaris pulleys offered by NST.

However, don't feel bad... NST has pulleys for the first gen xB that should fit your cars!

I don't know how many times I have had to type this same thing in this same thread

International customers with TWO-ROW crank pulleys in their cars need to order from our xA/xB page...
http://www.nonstoptuning.com/pKitToySciXAXB.htm

The majority of the rest with SINGLE-ROW crank pulleys can order from our Yaris page...
http://www.nonstoptuning.com/pKitToyYaris.htm

No doubt we will be discussing this again in a few pages

Shipping to PR is the same as any US state via USPS Priority Mail. 2-3 day service for only about $10.

You can place your order with us on our website whenever you're ready
