new Seibon hood [pics]

Since 'sandiegovitz' bought the Seibon CW hood right off my car, I needed something new. So I decided to try the other Seibon vented hood, the VSII.

I like this design a lot better.

Just a few quick pics, I'll paint the mesh black today:

I think you should paint the mesh to match the mesh in the grille.

Pretty good.... pretty.... prettyyyyyy.... pretty good!

one curious question though- since there's an opening/vent on top, is there a big concern for water coming in and maybe causing damage to the internal parts???

LOL, more true than you know

Gaps are common with the available CF hoods, Seibon should be better for the price, but it isn't.

I'm not worried about water. Doesn't rain much here, and I don't mind the engine getting wet once in a while anyway. Never hurt any of my other cars.

Yeah, unless its really bad like Miami =D then the rain shouldnt really affect it , just gotta be careful maybe with soap and water>?
