How is filter maintenance/replacement handled?

Exactly the same as a K&N or any other oiled filter. Should never really need to be replaced.

i just ended up ordering the weapon r intake, the prm just looks like the overall design is so much more restrictive

During my dyno run, a chap with a Matrix was testing the PRM filter. He had a AFE or AEM, can't remember which. Did a pull with the AFE/AEM intake. Then swapped just the filter with a PRM. Did another pull, and made more power with the PRM.

Can't remember. All I do recall is peak whp was greater with the PRM. Keep in mind that his experiment was to compare the PRM filter, the part which you no doubt view as restrictive, with the cone filter of the intake he was currently running.

i think the whole intake looks more restrictive because the cone is backwards inside the tube only alouding air thru the front rather than the entire filter. i could b wrong it could absolutly b awsome but i just went with my gut feeling

I believe I can vouch for those dyno results. It was my 08 being tested.
NOTE: It had the TRD exhaust on it at the time which may be the reason the baseline is a touch higher then a completely stock sample may demonstrate.

Overall I'm liking this intake a lot. cold airs were never my thing due to inducing clutter, and SRI's tend to be louder. I think I might bite.
