The part number is on a sticker on top of the radio. With OEM radios there is also a small shorter number printed on the face of the radio.

My radio model number is 86120-52490, the new radio model I'm looking to get is listed as 86120-52A20 and is said to be able to work for 2007 toyota yaris would you say that it's safe to get?

Indeed. The beautiful thing with Toyotas is compatibility. I am running a 2013 Yaris radio in my 2009 with not problem. I only had to purchase an antenna adapter for $7 to do so.

compatible stereos
is there a comparison chart online that shows what radios will work in different toyotas?
I have a 2008 base 3dr, and have been wanting a stereo out of a new fj cruiser with 6 disc changer, but wasnt sure if it would plug in to yaris. |

I don't think you will find a chart, but Toyota is really good with radio compatibility. I recently installed a 2013 Yaris radio in my 09 and only needed to purchase an antenna adapter, as the 2012+ radios use a different type of antenna connector.

I will probably just buy it, hoping it plugs in. |
