NST shifter cable bushing users: Lube up!

I recently installed some NST shifter cable bushings and I very much like them. I did notice that the shifter felt a bit "gritty" when rowing it around after installed the bushings. My car only has 5000 miles on it, so I figured the grit must be from the shiny NST bushings rubbing against the grit in the bushing carrier.

After spraying some Dupont teflon lube onto and around both bushings I was rewarded with a very nice, smooth shifter action.

So, go out there and lube those shifter cable bushings (if you haven't already)!
