Lol, yeah I was going through some threads I wrote in a while back and I saw that no one had replied to you yet. I hate it when people don't answer my questions, so this is my way of working with karma
But yeah, the most amount of play you'll have is with the headers. Some improve the power more at the lower end of the rpm band, some at the middle, some at the top. The DME header is best, imo, for just spirited around-town driving. It's pricier than most, but not by much.
Cheers! Always eager to help out fellow Yaris owners - especially ones that like the new iQ (I'm buying that as soon as the first-year bugs are out )

2.25" mandrel bent Header back exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. Oh yah, I have a resonator too, even though you can't tell! hah

Be sure to click "HQ" below the video player for both videos to view it in High Quality!

Here's a video that shows the muffler and some clips of me driving the car with the camera inside:

Hawaii does NOT recquire smog inspections! we are allowed to not have any cats. whoohooo!

Well I was getting around 38-40 mpg before the S/C, but now I am getting around 29-31 mpg. It IS a sacrafice, but I believe the trade off is worth it.
Removal of all of your cats is definitely not legal in hawaii. Yes, we have no smog inspect., but they can check to see if you are running catless.

Custom work done locally here in St Pete. Stainless steel, mandrel bent, 2.0 inch piping. Magnaflow muffler.

When I get a chance I'll take some better pics and a vid clip or two.

This may be the most retarded question but does the 5 door and the 3 door have the same exhaust? Like if I bought a exhaust labeled 3 door, will it fit my 5? Some times I feel so dumb haha

2" is small...I personally would've gone with 2.25" for NA application. It will help with low to mid range power.

Wrong. Probably make it worst. 2" is perfect for N/A. If he went with bigger piping, he'd be LOSING power in the low to mid range.

so why not go with 1.5"...2.25" is the perfect size for NA applications. Anything bigger is for more peak horse power.

You honestly think .25 inch is going to make a difference on a 1.5L 100hp car????

Well, it will be louder and slower. So maybe just not the difference you're looking for. I certainly wasn't.

Well, if the stock exhaust diameter is 1.75" then the extra .5" would make a difference.

Did you see a difference in going from 1.75" to 2.00"?
That's only a .25" difference.

There is a significant difference in only 0.25".

2" pipe is 3.14in/sq area
2.25" pipe is 3.97in/sq area
That's a 26.4% increase in flow capacity going from 2" to 2.25". Sounds like 26% would make some sort of difference to me.
