Why would you want a hotter burning plug? Are you having problem with burning oil or something.

Try www.ngk.com or www.sparkplugs.com --Both same company, just different portals.

My understanding is that only one company makes the iridium plugs, so it doesn't matter which, meaning NGK or Denso, you buy. Go with the best price.

I'm wrong. Denso did develope the iridium spark plug and initially manufactured iridium spark plugs for NGK.
http://www.sae.org/technical/papers/1999-01-0796 http://sciencelinks.jp/j-east/articl...99A0985843.php Since, NGK has gone on to manufacture their own iridium spark plugs. Denso is still the leader in developing the iridium spark plug. http://www.globaldenso.com/en/produc...df/SAE-M10.pdf I appologize for the mis-information. |

Wow, that's expensive. Blitz recommends their own hi-temp plugs at $30 apiece. That is a ripoff.

dang hawaii. i checked checkers, but they didn't carry them. arg. Even if i bought them for that price online, i'd still be paying around 12$ a piece just because of the shipping. Napa it is..

The tip on the NGKs is bigger than the Denso plugs, and they are cheaper.
If you are paying more than $7-$8 a plug you are paying too much. |
