audio cd
hi, i am new here and i am having problems with my cd player.. it is the stock headunit and i tried to burn cds but they just dont work. i tried to burn mp3 files to a cd-r disc.. but the player dont respond.. i tried original cds and they work fine.. where do you think is the problem? cheers!

make sure you are burning the discs as "music"
and not "data" |

Did you burn it as a music cd?
I have an 07 Yaris and my cd player can play "data cds" so I can pretty much drop my music folder into a CD and play it there. |

Also check your software settings.
Some older software needs to `close' the disc after burning. Otherwise it only plays in a CD burner and not in a regular music CD player. (auto or home) This is usually a problem when burning to CD-RW media, I've not seen it happen with CD-R before. |
