Removing B Pillar Covers (2 DR Hatchback 2007)
Update to my post...
https://yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?p=828940 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just need a few pointers/tricks to remove properly. I have come across 1 thread on removal but way too vague. I suppose I could just pull off and if I damage /break clips then just double tape back on aswell? I have a feeling this is rarely removed and not many have done so. I found out technical term for the piece btw... https://parts.gatewaytoyota.ca/oem-p...bC1sNC1nYXM%3D Last edited by Pinchlite; 04-26-2021 at 01:29 PM. |

Just run a plastic tirm removal tool down both sides don't stress the plastic, and then work the clips from the top down because it has a tab at the bottom that slides down into the door.

I ended up putting a crack in it.
Hardly noticable. The old tape really holds rock solid. Getting a new one is really quite expensive for what it is. Getting one from a scrapper is near impossible as you will never see a yaris in a scrap yard.It will be sold as quick as it arrives. |

I didn't have much issue removing mine but it's very hot here so the adhesive is always on the softer side. Just painted them the other day they look better than new, just need to get the car painted so I can put them back on.

I had paint done on my car aswell.Thats why I wanted to get off.
I ended up cracking one.Just going to leave it as they are over $70 CAD for 1 piece. That double sided tape is crazy stuff. P.S color match the emblems...thats what I did...looks real good! Color matched the cowling aswell. |

I blacked out the badges, I think they look pretty good.
