Yeah, Im voting after typing this. I want one BAAAAAD. My friend has one on his Fit, and I love the added length. If it's reasonably priced, I will def buy one.

I personally don't see this catching on. You'll sell 5 and it'll trail off after that.
Let' return to this point in about a month, when I've sold out my stock

Garm, I think I should be the test car used for this project.

I removed my arm rest to make shifting easier. An extension might let me put the arm rest back in.

Seriously, if you don't have a SSK and you throw more than a couple of inches on there this thing will be like driving a big rig. Even with the SSK throws are going to increase.

PHXDEMON: I dig the fancy crystal knob on your buddy's ride. Is he into D&D?!!

WOOT!!

Can there be a slight curve added to it?

It's possible!

Can there be enough interest for us to build such a piece?

I'll buy 10. Jk. But srsly. I want one, even tho it isnt cheeap.

Its a Toy. It should work on all Toys.

/edit.

What I meant to say was, since Toyotas share thread patterns, why don't we just post on MR2 forums, or W/E other cars NST makes parts for.

Not a bad idea of posting it on other Toyota/Scion forums. I know that the Toaster people are doing this, as with the example of my friend's.

Just may be me, but I think the 4" extension would be redundant. Just buy two 2" extensions, screw em' together with some lock-tite, call it good. So, voted for the 2" extension. What's the drop caused by the in-cabin SSK BTW?

the in cabin SSK from NST doesn't drop the shifter at all, it just reduces throw (25%).

This is different from the TWM type shifter which is the whole thing and does lower the knob.
