My new Magnaflow muffler; yet not installed.

Here's my new Magnaflow muffler that I will be using for my new exhaust setup. It has a 2.25" in and two 3" out dual tips. It's from their street performance line. I wanted a different look. I hope it sounds good, it should.

Going to install my Megan header tomorrow and next weekend drive around and get quotes for a header back exhaust (no cats) with mandrel bends.

Almost makes me wish I waited for the muffler when I was doing my exhaust! They had to order it and it would have taken two days, which was two days too long! lol

Can't wait to see it/hear it on the car.

Do you have 2.25" exit tips or 3"? The top of the tips look the be touching the bottom of your bumper. Has it burned the paint or anything? I might have mine a little lower than yours, but since my tips are angled, I think i'll be ok.

I believe this is the one that I have: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=7970. 2.25" in and out. My tips, I think they are either 2.5 or 3 inches. hahaha. They're not touching the lip, there's a few mm of room. hahaha. But nope, no burnt paint, and not even any carbon buildup. No warping, no worries. *knocks on wood*

Maybe it's the video but it doesn't sound that deep.

Combination of both the video and the fact that it hasn't been broken in yet. hehe, I added that little bubble thing because I thought the same thing. A lot of people are surprised that the sound comes from such a small car. Someone even asked if I had an LS1 under the engine. hahahaha, yeah, I know he was exaggerating, but he just didn't imagine my car pulling up when he heard the muffler first.

If I have time tomorrow, I'll borrow my bro's camera again and shoot an outside and/or an inside video. Don't expect crazy runs, as my mom lives in a densely populated area, so it would be normal driving.

lol yeah, my coworker was walking down the street when I drove by and he said he thought it was an entirely different (more powerful) car by the sound until he saw me.

you didn't mention, you'll be center-mounting it, right? should look pretty damn good with the angled tips!

I'm not sure if I'll be center mounting it or just having it on the right of the license plate. Hmmm, decisions decisions.

For the Euro tip/look, I like it off center to one of the sides. If the tips were straight, then center FTW!

I'm uploading a video of how mine sounds. I just took it earlier today. I'll post it up in a bit. I'm going to go and cut my hair. Back in a few.
