Need Help Creating the rest of my System.

So i was going to have it all finished for a christmas gift but now i am going to breckenridge, co to ski for my gift so im going to have to do all the work myself on my system for a professional install cost a lot.

08' Sedan Base Model

So far i have.
Infinity Kappa 693.7i 6"x9" 3-way Speakers
Polk Audio MMC5250 5-1/4" Component System
Pioneer DEH-P7000BT CD Receiver

What im looking to do is get a tight sounding 10" sub for my trunk and put an amp to my speakers. I am planning on just buying a sub box. Also im thinking it would be a good idea to dynamat on the bar that the 6x9s sit on and some in the trunk and behind the front woofers. I'm looking for any input possible to help me get what im looking for. I have been looking at a 5ch amp on crutchfield http://www.crutchfield.com/p_065GT50...ch=5+ch&tp=115 but have heard its better to run two seperate amps. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I like my 10" Type R sub in an eBay sealed box. I'm only feeding it ~220w (RMS at 4 ohms) and it hits hard. I haven't upgraded my speakers yet, and I'm using a JVC HU. It doesn't rattle much either, so unless you're planning on getting a 1000w amp, you won't need to Dynomat the trunk.

don't run 5.25's... run 6.5's... they will fit perfectly fine.
don't buy rear speakers, the sub will just make them distort more, plus rear speakers don't really add any volume anyways, and removing the rear speakers will allow for the bass to get into the cabin easier. If you have the sedan without the fold down rear seats I REALLY REALLY REALLY stress running no rear speakers and just removing those 6x9's.

yeah i didnt realize i had got 5 1/4 until later and i just live with the fact i fucked up there. as for the 6x9s i have the folding rear seats and plan on having the larger one folded down most of the time with the sub behind the single. I am going to leave them in since i bought them now but prolly fade to the fronts a lot more. Also im thinking i might hold wiring my speakers to am amp. Is the sound difference that much night and day or just a bit louder

also i need help deciding on a good amp and sub combo.

PS i gotta stop coming on here some of the shit i read makes my brain want to implode. hahaha High School electricty failed me.

amped speakers are a lot easer to get a good clean sound out of in my opinion.the speaker with an amp has enough power to push it easier with out distorting.

no need for rears......really there just isn't.

Good sub 10" look into IMage Dynamics.......they are able to take lots of power and sound very clean even maxed....they are not really expensive either. Also Elemental Designs makes great subs......their subs used to be made by Image Dynamics and still follow the same designs for the most part.
