I have to say NO.

ABS or not, the brakes do not need to get bleed for a brake PAD swap. Especially in this case where is not a 25,000 miles car getting pads.
I would suggest opening the brake fluid cap first though, before compressing the piston back in the caliper.. makes it a bit easier.

yeah theres no reason why you would have to bleed the brakes. do open the reservoir and be carefull that when you push back the piston you don't overflow the tank and damage the paint.

so you can place a CLEAN rag on the top of the reservoir to soak up the extra fluid.
