I have one 1zz TB and it work great when engine hot. No CEL, just fine with a litlel bug at 3000 if I release de gaz, it maintain, but for me, this is not a big probleme. I will do a chip swap with 2 Spare TB (1zz and 1nz)

1. Take a stock 1NZ throttle body, and drill out the rivets that hold the plastic controller to the body. Do the same thing with your 1ZZ throttle body.

2. Chip away the protective sealant on the 1ZZ's adjustment screw.

3. Use small bolts/nuts to install the 1NZ "chip" (black plastic end) onto the 1ZZ throttle body.

4. adjust the screw as needed. The screw determines how open the plate is at idle. If you're revving too high at idle you'll have to back this off by adjusting the screw.

Disconnect the battery for a while to force your motor to go into relearn mode (I can't remember how long).

Does that help?

I didnt need to adjust anything. Just a chip swap was fine the ecu can adjust the idle by itself.

That is where the electronics are.

Most trouble occurs because of sealing/gasket problems. Make sure to use the rubber O-ring. You'll notice it has one spot that leads to the outside of the TB. So, if you don't use that gasket (or seal it properly with other material), you will have a leak.
