Hey mine is like that too, and the covers i got came preset for that setup. I just told garm that I have the 2008 liftback non RS model.

As far as I know, all of the kits come with a cutout for the seat release lever on the outside of the passenger seat. peterpoop, yours came like that, yes?

Yes garm, my passenger seat cover had the cut out for the lever on the side. That is what made it difficult to not wrinkle because of that dumb lever there! haha

the cover gets tucked under that, I'm not sure if they popped it off or not

Yah I did tuck it under that. You can stretch the cover over and around the lever or you can pop off the latch cover thing too. It just seemed the seat cover itself had too much material, and when it was time to tuck it under the latch, it wrinkled because of the extra material of the cover. So to solve this I folded the seat cover under itself to make it shorter before I put it under the lever area. Less wrinkles.

I would have loved to see the clazzio team do it though!

Anyone thinking about these, I saw a set of the black leather outer with / black suede middle on display at the toyota dealer today and they look killer for real . If I didn't have the recaro's I'd get a set for my stockers .
