Took apart the front passenger strut....not blown....and after a quick drive, it seems as though taking it apart and putting it back together fixed the noise. I tried to put on my NST pulley, but my lower alternator bolt is rounded....that's now on my fix-it list... Also cleaned the MAF ....hopefully that helps the P0171 i got yesterday on the way to picking up my daughter from school...
