I am running the NST 10% Underdrive CR-lite pulley. My only other HP-related mods are a Thunder axle-back and a TRD CAI w/WeaponR Secret Weapon dry filter. I just made 107 WHP and 106 TQ on a Mustang Dyno this saturday, in mid-70's (degrees F) weather. I also am very pleased with the SSK. (dyno charts posted in proper section) |

hi. i'm about to install an underdrive pulley tomorrow morning and was reading over the diy from the other site. there mentions a tic tac sized dowel that makes me slightly nervous. was wondering if i could get one ahead of time just in case i lose this from napa or the dealer and what it might be called there. thanks in advance!

I just got the CR-Lite Pulley Set installed. Great product. Butt dyno says there's some gains in HP. Also, seems to me that it revs quicker. Oh btw, they were the BLUE pulley's I bought from a board member.

Wow! Blue ones were made for a very short time, they're pretty rare. Thanks again for the review and the kind words, good luck with all your projects! |

I have the 10% underdrive crankpulley on my 1.8 TS and it's a very, very great mod. Feels like a lot more horsepower.

It's not hard to keep track of, but you REALLY don't want to lose it.

time to say my part. installed my 10% UD pulley in about 15-20 minutes in a garage with air tools. if you're a little person you'll prob have troubles getting the alternator loose... and i found removing just the two upper screws on the plastic fender thing was enough to get to the pulley...
immediate boost in throttle response, and acceleration. car feels lighter and more lively. i've done a number of mod's on the cheap to my car, including modified intake and axle back, and nothing has done more for my performance than my pulley i installed last night, regardless of cost. very happy with product and will recommend at every opportunity. |

Anyone else have any real world reviews to share? Those of you who have owned NST pulleys for several thousand miles... it would be much appreciated if you would chime in with your updates.
Thank you. |
