Leason learned, and a public plea
Recently purchased a NST 10% UD pulley from a fellow YW member in New York. Was extremely happy with making the purchase until the seller notified me that he had shipped it. It was then that I realized that I failed to request USPS for shipping. Package was on it's way to Canada via UPS. SHIT!!
Driver shows up, and requires payment of $54.99 for brokerage, taxes and duties. I think I now have what is quite possibly the most expensive NST UD in North America at a total cost if approx $148.00 CDN. Since we here do a lot of buying and selling amongst ourselves, please make the postal system the first place to go when looking to ship parcels. Thanks folks.

wow, I do a lot of shipping between car parts and fish stuff I use and sell. I've learned ups is great inside the us but it's a lot safer and cheaper to go through usps, maybe about $10-$20 more that us. Also if you guys use flat rate boxes it's even cheaper.
