My grandfather and father used to use it on the farm or in the garage to unstick rusted bolts and nuts.
Never considered putting it in the gas tank or the engine oil.

Modern fuel pumps are usually submerged in the tank and designed to be cooled and lubricated by the gas they are pumping through them. So I am not sure that having it as a fuel additive would help the pump. The pump might be slightly better lubricated, but the heat conduction and convection away from the pump would have been altered, which could be good or bad for the overall life.

Marvel and Turtle Wax are old time brands that I would tend to like, but the claims have me wondering if it is really the same product anymore. It seems a lot like hype perhaps because the company wasn't happy with just being a really good all purpose lubricant anymore.
