A general coilover question
Hey everyone, hoping you can help
I need to order some coilovers asap so let me give you a brief -I plan to only street drive my car (its a daily driver), no track whatsoever. -I live where the roads are a mixture of smooth and bumpy -The fastest I probably go is 40-45mph -I usually have people in the car (so I want to go completely flush and when people are in the car it doesnt drop too much) -I want to have it flush with my tires (no wheel gap) and go lower in the future (Wheel setup: 16x7 40et wrapped in 195/45s) I read through the threads and Its between: Megan Racing Coilovers (spring rates: 6k front/3k rear) 32 levels of damper adjustment & TEIN Street Basis coilovers (4k front / 3.1k rear) No damping adjustment The only differences between the two are the front spring rates and the ability to adjust damper I guess. What i have read so far is that the megans are too stiff and people dont like it but on the other hand, the Teins dont drop as low. I was leaning toward the megans but are the 6k on the megans really that unbearable (I don't want my passengers complaining) I want whichever one has a better balance between comfort and the lowering capability. Can you help me decide? I love the back of my car, the front... not so much |
