Let's play "What's this a connector for??" !

I took the following two (2) photos when I was doing my RS3200 alarm install. It was unused wiring that was tied-up under the shifter console. Oddly, the connector has the same plug that fits into Jimcats' fog light switch...hmmmm ??

What's it for? Anyone know?

Plugs

hi
One of the plugs is for the a/T Shift lever Ilumnation, th other one is for the Shift lock control ECu

I have a manual tranny....do they use the same harness and leave them unplugged in the m/t version?

I think so cause I have a M/T and saw the same plugs, I found the info at the electric schematics of the Yaris

HAve you checked to see if there is power in them? I guess they put stuff not needed to just save money.
