Yes. I never used them personaly but we sold them through the audio store i used to work for. They seem very well made and come in any color combo you can think of. They are a bit tedious to put on. If i remember we had to lace it like a baseball mitt. But once on they never move around and have a real nice leather feel. Hope that helps. BTW i think they used to run between 20-45 bucks depending on the color.

I used a skin once on one of my cars, When you do it correctly it looks just like you have a lether wheel, When you don't it looks like you are trying to hide something! The yaris wheel is pretty fat and I am not sure how it would stretch and fit the contour of it though.

Ya that stitching if a pain in the ass,I advide you order a new spool of thread from them, they will give you free spools forever, thats what they told me when I ordered my second spool.I had a problem the first time,2 times actually,I keep missing holes,it was late and I was burnt so that didnt help. After re-threading 3 times, the thread starts to seperate, the wax is coming off completly,so you start getting alot of loss threads, but its perfect now.

Thanks for the pic, I was thinking of doing the same thing, it looks like exactly what I want (minus the brown)! Much thanks for the pics and explanations! It totally looks worth the 45$. My husband has an '04 Pathfinder, and I'm spoiled with the beautifully wrapped leather wheel!!

I've had several wheelskins. They aren't that easy to install well. You have to pull the lacing extremely tight. It feels as if you are going to tear the leather, but the leather is surprisingly strong! I put one on my Yaris' steering wheel, but I didn't like the way the laces looked around the fat spokes.

I use a lace-less type made from one of those mystery materials that's kind of like a hybrid between neoprene and polyester. It stretches over the wheel (which takes some force) but then fits pretty snugly and does a decent job of staying in place.
I like it because it adds girth to the wheel, which I feel is too small by itself, and makes it a bit softer which is nice on my hands with all the twists and turns on my mountain commute. I got it at Kragen for about $8.

I thought authentic wheelskinz were contoured to fit the model..the spokes were enlarged, etc, so it actually ran right up to the edge of the airbag cover?? All I see here are universal deals, with gaps left for the spokes of the wheel ?
