Dropped....finally. (many, many boring pictures)

TANABE DF210 Springs FIRST! This is before the drop (and before i tore that ugly-ass pinstripe off): Then with. I don't know how. I don't know when, but my rim is bent. poo. today i am sitting in my cubicle farm busy typing away when i recieve the following pictures via text message: it was hard. seeing her pieces all about. then i reminded myself, "you don't have to put it all back together", then i was okay.

ugh, i know. when i saw it i really wanted to punch the inside of my garage wall, but i showed retraint and just pouted for 2 hours. i'm better now, the gf bought me ice cream.
the rim is $109. looks like i'll be replacing it soon.

What does the protective stripping on the fenders do? I didn't notice it when I saw the car in person. I missed that, i did noticed the door strips which I guess serve a purpose. Was that something the dealer installed?

it's kind of bouncy. i dunno, maybe i'm just obsessivley paying attention to the bumps. i'm scared to "drive hard" like i use to.
