Selling used Alternator for a 2007-2010 Toyota Yaris, I bought this one as a spare never got around to install or needing. Asking $60 shipped

That's not a Toyota part number. The part number is on a foil tag on the side of it.

It should be either: 27060-21150, 27060-21151 or something similar

OK. That's off an 07 or 08. Did you per chance get the info on the car that it came off of when you bought it?

VIN would be great. I can run that through the EPC to verify.

Very good - It's off an 08 (built 04/08), so it doesn't have the potential 07 voltage regulator issue. Someone with an 07 should snatch this up ASAP (even if theirs has not failed yet). If no one does in the next couple of days, I will take it off your hands.

Ok, thanks. I had no idea about the voltage regulator issue, I'm almost tempted to keep it but my alternator seems fine. Just let me know

Thanks Hatchback.

CT....yes and thanks for doing the homework on this here and a previous alt. tear down thread. Don't have an issue yet but a spare is nice in case.

Good snag Klink. I have a spare on standby myself. Every now and then when it rains I'll have the voltage regular act up. Gotta get mine swapped out soon.

hatchbackkid...you know what's going to happen don't you? Now that it's sold, your battery light will start to flicker tomorrow

It wouldn't surprise me. That's the way these things always work. I'll probably have to end up buying back from klink
