Finally finished my system

I finally got amps and subs. I got a JL Audio HD600/4 , JL Audio HD750/1 and 2 JL Audio 10w6v2's. I built a ported box glassed in the spare tire well. I am running the 600/4 bridged to 300 watts x2 to Hertz MLK165's in the front.

Hey Palmer...You could drive up to Christiansburg, VA on the 16th. I'll be out from the West Coast to get some tuning lessons from Dave Edwards, John Ramos, and Scott Buwalda...I think there's enough SQ championships between all of them to suffice anyone's skeptical nature.

We could have some fun tuning on yours...

There's not much tuning I can do to mine. The deck is so plain it just has bass and treble controls. No built in eq or time alignment. I have the tone controls defeated all together and since I have a 4 channel bridged on the fronts it gives me separate gain controls for left and right. It sounds pretty damn good the way it is and images almost perfect. If I change anything I might add a bit one later.

My front speakers sound amazing but they should. They retail for $1000. I ran my fronts for a few months by themselves without a subwoofer and the midbass was killer. If you don't have any sound deadening in your doors I would highly suggest it. It makes all the difference in the world. I have about 33 square feet of Hushmat in my 2 front doors alone.

Very nice and clean install. Thumbs up! I've always loved JL products.

I really like HERTZ speakers!
Nice! I like the way you finished the woofers in the back!

Is that Plexi piece illuminated? Seems like it could be if it's not already.

It's not now but the thought crossed my mind. The funny thing is it came off of an old JL display we had in the corner of our store for 8 years. I couldn't resist using it.

I appreciate all of the kind words. It is a pretty good system without going overboard (not to mention any names). J/K. I have been extremely lucky in putting together my system . I have just over $600 in the whole system including sound deadening and wires.
