Anyone have a Chamberlain / Liftmaster Garage Door Opener?

Anyone have a Chamberlain / Liftmaster garage door opener? Where did you put your garage door opener remote?

I have this remote:

It has a removable metal clip that you're supposed to clip to the visor. I hate clipping it to the visor and have been looking for a different place to put it. Its range also sucks and I've considered opening the case and removing the PCB so I can add a piece of wire to the antenna.

Anyone here find a better place to put this other than the stock location (clipped to the visor)?

I have a sedan...put some velcro on the back and store in the little cubby to the left of the steering wheel. It doesn't slip around and is easy to access. I'm with you, not a fan of visor clips.

I put my garage door opener in the left console pocket (the odd shaped ones on either side of the A/C controls). It fits perfectly there and is totally out of view. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to not reaching up to the visor.

I have the exact same one as you. Love it. Touch the black pad lightly and all buttons light up to allow you to choose what door you want to open. The best thing is, is that it matches the interior.

I have mine attached to the passenger side visor. I might place it elsewhere as some people getting into my car bump their heads on it. It just looks too nice to put away!!!

I bought this one to try, but it's not compatible with my Liftmaster. I guess mine is an older model.

I've been thinking about removing the PCB from the casing and coming up with a way to integrate it into here:

(The slits in front of the map lights)

I've opened that up before and it's empty.
