Quick Slightly Stupid Q.

So I'm going to be swapping the old springs back in the rear.

First, with included picture, which springs go in back (i didnt do my spring swap) tall or short, then....which end goes up (or down) the fat end or skinny.

I havent even dabbled with the rear end yet which is why I ask.

Seems easy enough, jack up yaris, take off wheels, take off one bolt and the spring falls out.

Yes?

Will I need alignment.
Will there be any issues running two diff. sets of springs on said yaris.

Thoughts, corrections etc are appreciated.

Nope, not for the rears.

It might ride funky, which might be a control issue.

Thoughts, corrections etc are appreciated.

So, why are you only swapping the rears?

My guess is 400 pounds of audio equipment might have something to do with it.

Shorter smaller diameter ones in the rear and I think the end that's on the floor in your pic goes on top

thin ones go in the back, and I'm pretty sure they are all upside down.

However, it's very easy to tell by which end sits correctly in the bottom mount.
