Pics of Vent lights

Had some free time so i put some lights in the vents. They are controlled by the blue switch next to the heater dial. What do you think?

Dang! I find the high-beam indicator too bright to drive with, those would drive me buggy! Nice clean install, though, by the looks of it. Congrats.

Holy crap, I googled 'eye focus blue light' and I'm glad you mentioned that. It seems blue LEDs are even worse than regular blue light. I was gonna do my whole interior in blue.

BTW, check local state laws, alot of places dont want you driving with bright lights in the interior, esp. if they are at window level and can be seen by other drivers.

you are pretty much ok in any state with lights on the floor assuming they arent bright enough for a officer to see from the road...vent lights on the otherhand...hit or miss depending on where you live.

Sadly, that kind of law NEVER seems to cover drop-down DVD-player screens for the kiddies in the back. I have been known to pull off the road rather than follow some soccer-mom (or dad, let's be fair) who is driving at night with these things on. If they don't turn them off when I flash highs, I'll let them go, or make sure another car gets between us. F'ing inconsiderate bastids! Let the kids converse politely if they're bored.....

every should know that watching tv is stressful in the dark. I'd never let my kids (when i'll have kid) watch TV in the car at night.

I am adding this to the list of things to do., I did the Radio conversion to blue, and the radio I can see without any problem, not even strain, but the Guage cluster i did notice was harder, maybe its the angle, since the radio faces straight, and the guage is angled towards you, cause i noticed that sitting in the passenger seat, I could see the cluster clear as a bell. Did you use an LED bar? for those vents.

No I got a led strip that can be cut into shorter segments each vent has 4 leds. The strip has 16 total, cost about $15.00.
