Question about HID for 07 Yaris
Hi everyone, I am new to yaris world, and I was wondering if I should get Single Beam HIDs for my 07 Yaris? If i do get it and install them, what would happen if try to turn on my high beams? Also I've been looking at some HI/LO HIDs (Not BI-Xenon) and I don't know what to get? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Get a single-beam. The hi's on mine are about as useless as using a dirty rag towel to wax my car.

There should not be a high beam bulb. So I don't think anything will happen. hehehe. My HID low and halogen Hi has two bulbs. The halogen bulb is right next to the HID bulb, very small, and very useless.

So you purchased one of those HI/LO bulbs with an HID low and halogen HI that are fitted right next to each other? So if i get a single beam HID bulb and turn on high beam it should do nothing?

Well, not necessarily, like the comment above, things just might get dark. Our cars shut off the low beams when the high beams are turned on. On my kit, there are two cables, one for the high and one for the low (HID), so if there is no cable for the high, there will not be a place for the power/wattage to go to/diverted to, so, nothing happens, nothing turns on.

bixenons are super expensive, i'm just worried about where the voltage and current will go when i turn on my high beam, i don't really care for high beam i rarely used them.

bi-xenon use no more power than any other HID kits..
it's simply 1 HID bulb with an actuator behind to move it back and forth. Most be-xenon kit sold on ebay have this cover on the bulb, it helps blocking the extra lights that glare. 117$ is not expensive http://cgi.ebay.ca/8000K-Bi-Xenon-H4...3A1|240%3A1308 |

I have a regular HID kit and works just fine. I just don't have the high beams. The only thing that happens if you turn into high beams on this case is that it won’t be any light at all. Honestly, with HIDs you just DON"T need high beams!
