Weapon R seat bracket?

Anyone has had or seen one?

Based on some occasional reviews, these do not look like the pic under the link (complaints about height)

http://www.weapon-r.com/product-cata...rackets/page-2

Anyone has pic of his / her, pls?

Asking 'cause I picked up a pair of nice seats from a local junkyard, thinking how to have those brothers installed. My seats have stock sliders that I want to reuse (and also leave my untouched in case I need them later) - I basically need some type of flat base, preferrably not very tall one, cause my seats are not race type with shallow @bottom@ pieces.

BAsed on my quick internet research, the best product on the market seems to be planted.

Trying to find a cheaper alternative.

Thanks

P.

PS: Thanks to MI/CTScott for airbag bypass module - one less problem to think about.

i have the weapon R brackets. The height is my issue too, so I'm chopping them and re-drilling / welding so they're lower.

Sparco brackets i got from microimage was a perfect fit. My complaint was that it was too low... i wanted another 2 inches height added. I still sit a bit lower then stock. Not a huge fan of the height sti but my sparco seat keeps me in place better than my stock seat did for autocross

Wedge engineering with an optional height brackets ! I had the weapon r one, but it's so flimsy and way too low .

Even with the additional height adapter , my seat is still lower than stock .

just make some, $50 in material and some time is all you need to have them exactly where you want them.

thanks for the advice.. in my case I would also have to invest in some good vise and angle grinder.. but definitely an option

in the mean time, ordered the planted brackets- was seduced by laser cutting - will post pics once receive one (hopefully some time next week)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PLANTED-Race...62885d&vxp=mtr

also spoke to cipher guys - their 200 bucks / pair option looks promising .. down side is 2-4 weeks fabrication time
