yaris world lottery?

i was thinking about this yesterday at work ..

about two things

doing a lotto pool on here.. like as many people who want to go into a lottery pool could .. if we could get 1000 people to do $1 for tickets we'd have a cheap way to possibly make millions to pay off all our cars :)

or maybe a raffle of sorts that we could hold weekly and it would be fun. imagine doing $1 a week and the winner could get a good amount of cash for upgrades or something :)

I used to do paintball gun raffles on my paintball business forum years ago and they went really well.

maybe we can do it and donate some of the money to charity or to the forum or something :)

lol

I have a bingo wheel with about 70 balls in it.
what i used to do is video the ball selection or we'd pick a number out of a hat and video that for proof :)

i never had anyone have any problems with it . I gave away $1000 paintball guns all the time doing it. The kids on the forum loved it :)

I think it could work. Just need a sizable following, I suppose. It's a good idea, conceptually.

I'd be in it. But don't you have to be a US resident to be able to claim the US lottery? What if our syndicate won, how would people in other countries get there money?

so, 3% loss to pay in (or more for international users), 3% loss to pay out. who holds the money, and why should we trust this person?

Hey I don't mind giving tinygiant $10 US for lotto. What's the worst thing that could happen? I lose $10!

lol what'd not to trust? if there is a video winner and everyone posts when they pay in there is no chance for "funny business"

I'd run it. i've done it before. have perfect ebay feedback (800 someodd transactions) also paypal verified and such.

any time someone send in I would update the original post with a list and the persons number.

I'll have to see how many little numbers are in my bingo wheel and we can start small.. maybe like 70 people $2 tickets. i'll get a figure on what paypal takes exactly (there is i think a % and a transaction fee) i'll have to check :)

but say even if it were down to like 1.20 after paypal then thats $84 for the winner. not bad winnings.

if people wanted to ramp it up with bigger buy ins later on i'd be fine with that and would probably play weekly still :)

but we can start at $2 and go from there :) I think it would be fun :) it always was a joy to see the winner of the week or month psyched.

$10 tickets at 70 people would be a sick payout. I dont think i would be able to play every week lol ..

we could do $10 tickets at a monthly drawing.. give people time to come around. I'd be stoked to win that kind of cash for yaris upgrades or who whatever.

i think $10 and monthly drawing is a great idea.

anyone else in favor? that might encourage more people to play. i think we should cap it at about 70 people . for now it would be sweet to have a yaris world wide one .. and get like 2000 people doing 10$ bux. you could pay off your car with the winings :)
