Head/Tail light Vinyl Film

So I'm looking to get some film for my lights as I don't have $200-300 to spend on nice LED Smoke lights at the moment. What would you recommend? Also, what is the best level to put on so that the lights aren't dimmed to much and/or made illegal? I'd rather not get pulled over.

Right so I just got my films from Lamin-X. How hard are they to install? If I've never done it before should I bite the bullet and get them professionally installed?

I've put lamin-x films on a few of my vehicles. Clean the surface really well, and take your time. It's not hard.

If it's like 90 degrees outside should I need to use a hairdryer or heat gun on the film at all?

It depends on the complexity of the curve. I'd bring one with just in case. Use LOTS of water+a drop of soap solution on the film. Literally soak it.

I've gotten my lamin x in. im going to lay red over the amber marker on my 09 so the tails are red and clear. I've read the instructions and the only thing I've notice is your surface is recommended to be like surgerically clean. but the material is suppost to b pretty forgiving. if you can tint a window they shouldn't b hard at all
