words of wisdom?

ok. i'm getting ready to do the DREADED df210 install this tuesday. the reason i've picked tuesday is because i've got somewhere to be on monday and i have the rest of the week off(vacation) with no other plans i've been reading the DIY on the forum and even reading all the 'help me' threads on the matter for information. i've collected the following parts for install:

17mm OFFSET box wrench
6mm allen key
jack stands
various metric sockets/wrench
small hacksaw(for cutting bump stop)
df210 springs
tanabe front strut tower(i might as well install since the wiper cowl will be off and car will be on jack stands)

i haven't rented the spring compressor yet because i want to wait until i actually have the front struts off the vehicle(which seems to be the 'make or break' moment of the install)! any words of advice from anyone who recently performed the install? no, i can't afford an impact wrench so i guess i might need some type of lead/steel pipe for help turning the wrench? wish me luck!

Honestly, I'd get an impact to take off the top nut of the struts. People say it's easy with an offset box wrench but it sure wasn't for me. It came off instantly with an impact. That was the only hard part. Although, I had problems with finding a place to jack up the rear of the car too lol. Just my opinion.

Best words of wisdom that you can recieve is the following...

Make sure you have the WHOLE day to do the project. Things can and usually do happen while working on cars that take the project a hell of a lot longer then was expected.
