Holes under the emblems?

Before I rip the "Toyota" and "Yaris" emblems off of my rear hatch just wanted to know if they had locating pins on them. Thanks.

nope. just beautifully painted sheetmetal. your car will be much happier.

you can also modify the toyota with a razor blade and reinstall as "toy". im in the process of that now, figured i'd confuse a few folks.

Good to know! Thanks

I wanted to remove those 2 and put another one in the lower right corner that MicroImage is selling, if it's not too big. Guess the next step is to go find that out now.

OP is referring to the branding badges 'Toyota' and 'Yaris' - no pins.

no pins under the "yaris" logo , a piece of dental floss or thin string is the easiest way to remove it .

These types of logos are easer to remove it you first heat it with a hairdrier before using the dental floss.

I was able to use a plastic tool about the size of a credit card...sliced it off. Pulled the rest off with my fingers then washed and waxed the areas.

heat it up with a blow dryer and it will come off with ease...no scratches to worry about.

Out of curiosity, would it be possible after you remove the emblems to put them back on the car but in a different spot?

3M makes very strong two sided tape, meant to secure body kits--perfect for reapplying emblems wherever you wish. Any auto parts store will have something similar.
