My springs were megan racing springs, 1.5inch drop. Notice the height difference between front oem springs and Megan springs. Much more then 1.5inch and made me very nervous at first look. I needed to use spring compressors to remove stock springs. New springs could be installed with no compressor. Rear springs were only slightly shorter then oem springs.

I purchased strut cam bolts to correct camber settings during alignment, but camber was perfect and well within factory specs during alignment. These bolts were 40$ from local parts store. Since camber was within specs I later returned these bolts and reinstalled factory upper strut mount bolts. Only front toe needed to be adjusted during alignment.

This pic will show a small problem I had witch can be avoided with a little tip. When I removed the left front strut the spindle pulled on the drive axle and pulled on the inner axle boot to far and caused the axle to pop out of its yoke within the boot. You can see the boot is stretched in the pic. Make sure to support the spindle when the strut is removed with bunge cord or coat hanger to prevent this. I was able to pop this back into place but I almost ripped the boot witch would have been real shitty. Also only remove one side at a time so you will have a reference for correct installation!

Rear springs are cake to install and only took about 10 min. The rear of car will need to be supported on jack stands. Then support the center of the axle with your jack. Disconnect your rear shocks and lower the axle slightly so the shocks hang loose. You can then slide the old springs out and the new springs in place. Swing the axle back up with the jack and reconnect your shocks and your good to go!

This job can be completed with some basic mechanical knowlege and metric tools. You will also need a impact gun to remove top strut nut once spring is compressed. You can not hold strut shaft with vice grips or channel locks as you will scratch the shaft and when strut compresses over bumps the seal will be broken and U will have a blown strut. Also when removing drain tray under wiper motor, be careful as it is very sharp sheet metal and will slice you like a razor blade. I bought some cheap spring compressors from harbor freight tools. One needs to be carefully placed on each side of spring. This is also a little dangerous, be carefull, or have a shop complete this task. I am very happy with my new springs. Not to low and not to high. Ride is a little stiffer but not bad. Now this thing corners like its on rails

Looks good!
Shame you didn't upgrade the dampers at the same time. Let us know how the stockers manage to control those shorter/stiffer springs. Is it bouncy at all?

Very nice drop on your car with Megan springs!! OEM spings look too TALL to attract any attention.
